In the article ‘A Rationale for Group Treatment of Aphasic Patients’ by Lois M. Bloom in the February, 1962 issue of the Journal (p. 11) the first sentence should read: ‘The majority of adult aphasics treated at the Institute of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation have sustained cerebral [not cardiovascular] vascular accidents with residual hemiplegia.’

In the article ‘Pathogenesis and Treatment of Vocal Nodules’ by Henry J. Rubin and Irwin Lehrhoff in the May, 1962 issue of the Journal (pp. 150–161), the last sentence of paragraph four should read: ‘In our experience, where the necessity for surgery is questionable at the outset, this decision can be made in two to six weeks’ [not months].
