  • To assist in defining the unresolved issues related to audiometry and audiometers, the Council requested the Executive Secretary of CHABA (Hallowell Davis) to prepare a summary statement of the Purposes and Objectives of Audiometry and also to make certain recommendations in regard to the testing of hearing in the Armed Forces. The statement as presented here is an official expression of opinion by the CHABA Council.
