  • * Dr. Brown (Ph.D., Iowa, 1937; M.B., Minn., 1945) is serving an internship in Pediatrics at the John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, Maryland. He is a 1st Lieutenant in the Army Medical Corps Reserve. He is on leave from the Speech Clinic, University of Minnesota. The data for the study reported in this paper were gathered in the University of Iowa Speech Clinic. This article is the seventh in a series of papers dealing with the general problem of the factors determining the loci of stutterings in the speech sequence.
